PM on lower taxes to attract global companies
Closing the Conservative party conference in Manchester, the prime minister said the economy was beginning to turn the corner and that he wanted to build "a land of opportunity for all".
He pointed to success in cutting the deficit, tackling unemployment and boosting the creation of new business.
He also said there should be competitive tax rates to attract global companies.
Mr Cameron said: "If those taxes are higher here than elsewhere, they don't come here. And if they don't come here, we don't get those jobs."
