Help to Buy mortgage deals unveiled by banks

Some of Britain's banks have begun to unveil details of the mortgages they will offer under the government-backed Help to Buy scheme.

The aim is to assist people who cannot afford the big deposits that banks require at the moment.

RBS, NatWest and Halifax will start taking applications this week, with HSBC and Virgin Money joining later.
