Royal Mail strike regrettable says Vince Cable

A decision by Royal Mail workers to go on a national strike on 4 November is "regrettable" the Business Secretary Vince Cable has said.

The Communication Workers Unions has said the action could be averted if the company made concessions over pay and conditions, but Mr Cable said the government could not intervene.
