End of road for Peugeot Citroen Aulnay car factory
Peugeot-Citroen is hoping to reach a deal with Chinese car maker Dongfeng and the French government at talks starting on Tuesday.
France's biggest carmaker is losing nearly 3,000,000 euros pers day as sales have plummeted to a 20 year low in Europe due to the lengthy recession.
However, any new cash will come too late for staff at the Aulnay plant near Paris - The BBC's Hugh Schofield has met some of the thousands of workers who are losing their jobs.
