Champions League: BT rights deal 'good for customers' - Gavin Patterson
An £897m deal by BT Sport for exclusive rights to Champions League football for three years is "a good deal for customers", the head of BT says.
The broadcaster has won the rights to show all 350 matches each season from 2015 after talks with European governing body Uefa.
BT chief executive Gavin Patterson denied that the deal was anti-competitive and said customers would pay "considerably less than you have to pay today."
