Paul Flowers at Treasury Select Committee

Former chairman of the Co-operative Bank Paul Flowers gave evidence to the Treasury Select Committee on November 6.

During the session he was accused by committee chairman Andrew Tyrie of not knowing "very basic" figures about the bank.

Mr Flowers defended his selection as chairman, claiming that the Financial Services Authority had approved his appointment.
