Has Co-op Bank's ethical reputation been tarnished?

People in the Co-operative movement's birthplace of Rochdale have been giving their views on whether the Co-op Bank's reputation has been damaged by recent events.

One woman said, "I've not had any problem with them", while another asked, "If you can't trust someone running a big bank like that, who can you trust?"

MoneySupermarket.com's Head of Banking, Kevin Mountford told BBC Breakfast the Co-operative movement had been damaged "short term, but over time it's got a chance of rectifying that."
