Nelson Mandela's economic policies and legacy

Tens of thousands of mourners and dozens of heads of state have been attending a memorial service for Nelson Mandela, South Africa's first black president.

He held the leadership from 1994 to 1999 and steered South Africa through a new post-apartheid era.
