Payday loan adverts: MPs urge children's TV ban

A group of MPs has called for payday loan advertising to be banned from children's television, a suggestion which has been opposed by the industry.

Adverts could expose children to the idea that loans were "fun, easy and an appropriate way to access finance", the Business Select Committee report said.
