Zimbabwe business ownership: 'Laws are protecting locals'
Foreign businesses in Zimbabwe have just 48 hours to meet new ownership rules.
The move is a mainstay of controversial empowerment regulation designed to give locals majority control of Zimbabwe's commerce.
From 1 January, foreign-owned shops, wholesalers and hairdressers risk losing their licence to operate in the country if they fail to make the necessary changes.
