Savings expert: 'Tie-up cash for higher interest rate'

As economist predict continuing low interest rates, savers are struggling to get a decent return.

Personal finance expert Christine Ross from SG Hambros told BBC Breakfast's Dominic Laurie that people who did not want to invest in the stock market had to find a saving account with a longer tie-in period.

And, she added, people had to move accounts regularly to benefit from introductory bonus rates.
