Npower report 'gives the facts', says boss

Npower chief executive Paul Massara has told BBC Radio 4's Today programme that the data released in its Energy Explained report on 22 January "gives the facts".

He continued: "A lot of myths have been bandied about recently".

His statement came after energy regulator Ofgem had labelled some of the information used in the report as "incorrect and misleading".

Mr Massara also explained that Npower "did engage" with Ofgem before releasing the report.
