EE boss: Phone firm 'to bring back 1,000 jobs to UK'

The mobile phone company EE has said it is planning to bring back 1,000 customer service jobs to the UK from overseas.

The firm's chief executive Olaf Swantee explained that they want to "establish a new benchmark" for customer service in telecommunications.

EE's customer base also increased by 68% in the fourth quarter of 2013, attracting "over 800,000" new customers to its 4G service in the UK, Mr Swantee said.
