Personal finances not improving suggests survey for BBC

The majority of British people believe their personal finances will not improve in the year ahead despite the economic recovery, suggests a survey for the BBC.

Food shopping and utility bills were the household expenses causing most concern, according to the survey carried out by ComRes on behalf of BBC Breakfast.

The Chancellor will unveil his Budget for the year ahead on Wednesday.
