Money on wheels: Banking goes mobile

When the Royal Bank of Scotland announced a further series of branch closures earlier this month, it promised that some of the affected customers would be served by a mobile branch instead.

The bank is spending £600,000 on five new vehicles. Some will operate in Scotland, and some will operate under the NatWest brand in England and Wales.

Brian Milligan went to visit one of the new "banks on wheels" in the Scottish borders.
