Royal Mail announces a 12% increase in profits

Royal Mail has announced a 12% increase in full-year profits. The business made £671m in the year to March, up from £598m the previous year.

The results are the first since the company was floated on the stock market.

Nick Hungerford, Chief Executive of Nutmeg Investment Management, says the postal firm is facing tough times ahead.
