Could Russian sanctions open the door to more China trade?

Last week brought news which has some people wondering: could China take advantage of the big changes announced by its neighbour, Russia.

Moscow has slapped import bans on items from the European Union, the United States among some other Western countries in a tit-for-tat sanctions-battle over the crisis in Ukraine.

So could China plug the trillion dollar gap in trade? Economist Tony Nash discusses the options.
