Subrata Roy's billion dollar bid for freedom

Jailed business tycoon Subrata Roy is trying to sell off some of his most valuable investments including New York's Plaza Hotel and London's Grosvenor House hotel.

Mr Roy has already been in jail for five months and needs to raise $1.6bn (£960m) so he can be released from prison on bail.

The BBC's Sameer Hashmi reports from Mumbai.
