Sugar prices force new recipe for success in Mauritius

On the island of Mauritius in the Indian Ocean, the landscape is dominated by fields of tall green sugar cane.

For decades it was the mainstay of the island's economy, but in recent times the price of the sweet-tasting commodity has dropped substantially - forcing the industry to adapt.
