The Indian coal mines in Australia fuelling controversy

Australia's decade-long mining boom has, in large part, been fuelled by the demand for minerals from China.

But when it comes to coal, Australia increasingly sees India as, potentially, its biggest trading partner.

Several large Indian companies are developing their own mines in Australia, with plans to export tens of millions of tonnes of coal every year to fuel power stations back home.
