Opec to maintain oil production at current levels

Opec has said it will not cut its oil output to shore up international crude oil prices.

The decision came after a five-hour meeting of the 12 representatives of OPEC member countries.

Opec's Secretary-General Abdallah Salem el-Badri said that they had decided to maintain production at current levels.
