Robert Peston on the UK's record low inflation rates

Inflation has dropped to zero, at its lowest level since records began.

Lower food prices and cheaper imports led to the latest fall in the Consumer Prices Index.

The figures are good news for consumers but have further stoked fears the economy is moving towards deflation.
