Kraft and Heinz: a saucy combination

Heinz - the company known for its tomato ketchup and baked beans - has agreed to merge with Kraft to create one of the world's biggest food giants.

Shares in Kraft, whose brands include Philadelphia cheese and Maxwell House coffee, jumped 35% on Wednesday after the deal was confirmed.
