Is the Indian economy improving under PM Modi?

Above anything else, it was a promise to revive India's sluggish economy - and create jobs and prosperity - that propelled Narendra Modi and the BJP to power in the 2014 Indian national elections.

But one year on, has the economy improved? And if so, can the government take all the credit?
