Africa's 'CEO sleepout' charity fundraiser

In 2014, chief executives of leading companies in Australia raised funds for the homeless by sleeping rough for a night. The event was replicated in the US and in the UK and has now also taken place in Africa.

For one night, the heads of scores of South Africa's top companies swapped their cosy beds for the streets outside the Johannesburg Stock Exchange - each one having pledged about $10,000 (£6,360).
