El Nino return could cause rice prices to rise

This year, the world is being hit by El Nino again. It is a weather event which has caused widespread drought and harvest failures.

One of the affected crops has been rice, and since rice is the staple food for half the world's population, it is bad news for billions of consumers.

However, it could also lead to a price rise for rice farmers.
