Karl Lagerfeld: 'I'm the Joan of Arc of design'

Karl Lagerfeld has been at the helm of the French fashion house Chanel for over three decades and his schedule remains relentless despite being in his 80s.

He still does eight collections a year for the brand, not to mention his work for his own label and Fendi.

Speaking to the BBC he described himself as "the Joan of Arc of design" and said he did not worry about the business side of the industry but "worked with instinct".
