India's booming smartphone market

Last year more than a 1,000 mobile phone handsets were launched in India. The vast majority of them were smartphones, with some costing as little as $50 (£35).

India is one of the fastest growing markets in the world, and unsurprisingly this is attracting manufacturers in their droves.

So how do consumers choose a product when there is so much variety out there? The BBC's Shilpa Kannan finds out.
