Rural spending gets priority in India's new budget

Spending on rural areas is top priority in India's new budget. From building better infrastructure to giving farmers more loans, the new budget increases government spending in rural areas and farming by 24%.

That's because farmers were one of the hardest hit by the government's decision last year to ban almost 90% of bank notes in circulation. Shilpa Kannan has the details.
