Grayling: Heathrow expansion offers 'economic links'

The next stage in the plan to build a new runway at Heathrow Airport is underway.

Transport Secretary Chris Grayling is to launch a 16-week consultation and set out planning and infrastructure proposals, and future links with regional airports.

Mr Grayling tells the Today programme the new runway will bring "essential economic links" and create the right business connections.
