Is your landline bill about to go down?

More than two million people who buy only a landline telephone service from BT could see their monthly bills cut by at least £5 a month, under plans announced by Ofcom today.

Sharon White, chief executive of Ofcom, told the Today programme it is mainly elderly and vulnerable people who will be affected by this cut.
