BT CEO: Openreach deal better 'long-term'

BT has bowed to demands by the telecoms regulator Ofcom to legally separate Openreach, which runs the UK's broadband infrastructure.

BT's chief executive, Gavin Patterson, told the Today programme the separation is much better for long-term certainty and will promote investment.
