The musician who plays a violin like a cello

Gaelynn Lea stands 3ft tall and plays the violin like a cello.

The singer-songwriter from America has Brittle Bone Disease and uses a loop pedal to compose haunting folk music which has seen her travel the world.

In this video she performs Someday We'll Linger In The Sun which won the 2016 NPR Tiny Desk Contest and set her on a tour across America. She has since performed in Europe too.
