Researchers scan children's bodies for clues

In England one in three children is now classed as overweight and with child obesity still increasing, manufacturers and retailers are adapting their products.

Four major retailers commissioned a survey to learn about changing trends in physique.

Select Research used 3D body scanners to measure 6,000 children across the UK.

Richard Barnes showed BBC News examples of the scans and some early findings, although the full report is not due out until 2011.
