Worries over student living costs

Thousands of students are beginning or returning to university this weekend and there are warnings many of them could struggle to pay their living costs.

Demand for cheaper accommodation has pushed up student rents, and some new blocks built to meet the housing shortfall are charging room fees which far exceed the average student's income. Susannah Streeter reports.
