Universities under pressure of new student expectations
Universities in England will find out on Friday the level of tuition fees they are allowed to charge with two-thirds of institutions having applied to ask students to pay the full amount of £9,000 a year.
There has been considerable anger from students and their families about the rise in tuition fees and universities will have to manage much greater expectations from people wanting value for money for their education.
This new scrutiny comes at a time when complaints from students who are already at university are on the rise.
