Gove and Twigg clash over GCSE grading row

The Education Secretary has clashed with Labour's education spokesman in the House of Commons, over the GCSE grade-boundaries row.

Stephen Twigg quoted a report by Michael Gove when in opposition, calling for ministers to be "held accountable when the regime fails".

Michael Gove has said students who sat GCSEs this year were treated unfairly, but said it was beyond his remit to order the grade limits be adjusted.
