Gillies: UKBA ruling is 'effectively a deportation order'
The London Metropolitan University is challenging a ruling effectively banning it from taking students from outside the EU.
The UK Border Agency says student attendance is not being monitored and that many have no right to be in the UK.
But Malcolm Gillies, Vice-Chancellor of the London Metropolitan University, says "much of the UK Border Agency's case is wrong".
Gillies said the university would seek "a stay, in what is effectively a deportation order, before the High Court."
Malcolm Gillies spoke to BBC Breakfast.
