David Cameron dodges times table question
David Cameron has promised to protect England's schools budget in a future Conservative government, but the prime minister was less forthcoming when asked a basic maths question by a reporter.
Channel 5's Andy Bell presented Mr Cameron with the question "What are nine eights?", but the Conservative leader said he wanted to "plead the (Education Secretary) Nicky Morgan defence".
"I do times tables only in the car with my children on the way to school", he added.
