Grammar school tests: How do children cope?
England's grammar schools are back on the agenda following a recent government announcement of £50 million for more places for disadvantaged pupils at selective schools.
But the odds are still stacked against children who choose to sit the test, with up to four applicants for each place at some schools.
How selection impacts on education is explored in Grammar Schools: Who Will Get In? on BBC Two at 2100 BST on Tuesday 5 June. Episode one is now available on the BBC iPlayer.
