GCSE and A-level exams: Williamson 'incredibly sorry for exams unfairness'

Education Secretary Gavin Williamson has said it was "the right thing to act" when it became clear that the A-level and GCSE results were unfair.

He said that although the government had worked to ensure a broad-ranging appeals process, students would now be given the grades estimated by their teachers.
