TUSC manifesto launch: 'Only 100% anti-austerity party'

A coalition of left-wing groups and trade union activists has pledged to end austerity and nationalise Britain's banks.

The Trade Unionist and Socialist Coalition - which says it is fielding 135 candidates across England, Wales and Scotland - launched its manifesto in London's financial district of Canary Wharf.

The alliance's chairman, the former Labour MP Dave Nellist, said the economic recovery had not been shared by ordinary people.
