Election 2015: Labour says UK has lost power under PM

Labour leader Ed Miliband has accused Prime Minister David Cameron of presiding over "the biggest loss of influence for our country in a generation".

Speaking in London, Mr Miliband suggested that the coalition government had "stepped away from the world rather than confidently towards it".

He also said that there had been a "failure in post-conflict planning" in Libya and criticised the prime minister's strategy with regard to the European Union.
