Millions go to polls as UK decides next government
Millions of people around the UK have been casting their votes to decide who will form the next government.
Voters had until 10 o'clock on Thursday night to cast their ballots.
As well as the general election, there are more than 9,000 council seats being contested across 279 English local authorities.
Mayors will also be elected in Bedford, Copeland, Leicester, Mansfield, Middlesbrough and Torbay.
