Scotland's Labour leader Jim Murphy: 'We make no excuses'

Labour's leader in Scotland, Jim Murphy, has said he makes ''no excuses'' for Labour's losses and the SNP's sweeping gains throughout Scotland.

Mr Murphy lost his East Renfrewshire seat by more than 4,000 votes to the SNP's Kirsten Oswald.

He said Labour was hit by a perfect storm of two nationalist campaigns - the SNP and ''English votes for English people''.
