David Cameron: 'We can make Great Britain greater still'

David Cameron has returned to Downing Street after the Conservatives defied polls and won the general election.

The Tories secured the 326 seats needed for a majority government, their first such victory since 1992.

Speaking outside 10 Downing Street, Mr Cameron said: ''We are on the brink of something special in this country.''

"We can make Britain a place where a good life is in reach for everyone who's willing to work and do the right thing."

''Together we can make Great Britain greater still".
