'We need Nigel Farage leading UKIP for next few years'
Nigel Farage's resignation as UKIP leader has been turned down by his party.
Mr Farage had said he would stand down after failing to win a seat in last week's general election.
Deputy leader Paul Nuttall said the party had been "inundated" with calls from members saying they wanted Mr Farage to remain as party leader.
He also said UKIP "was on the map and needed Nigel Farage to lead".
