Peter Robinson 'ready for Stormont House Agreement talks'

DUP leader Peter Robinson has said he is ready to sit down with Sinn Féin and the other Executive parties on Monday to try to implement the Stormont House Agreement.

The deal fell apart earlier this year when Sinn Féin accused the DUP of reneging on a deal over welfare reform.

While no hung parliament means no role as kingmakers for the DUP, Mr Robinson said the votes of Northern Ireland MPs would still be critical as time goes on.

He was speaking at a news conference at Stormont.
