Election 2015: Leaders contact via online messaging

The leaders of Plaid Cymru and the SNP keep in touch via instant messaging, Leanne Wood has told BBC News.

The Plaid Cymru leader said she and Scotland's First Minister Nicola Sturgeon were in regular contact via telephone but also used online messaging to stay in contact.

She also said the pair had not discussed potential prime ministers, arguing what mattered was "politics and policies".

Ms Wood was speaking to BBC Breakfast's Louise Minchin.
