Len McCluskey: I'm now full of optimism for Labour
One of Jeremy Corbyn's key allies, Unite boss Len McCluskey, says he now believes Labour is in with "a real chance" of winning the general election and is "full of optimism".
He said the "incredible response" to the publication of Labour's manifesto had changed his view that Labour could not win the 8 June poll.
Mr McCluskey had said in an interview with the Politico website that winning 200 seats - nearly 30 fewer than in 2015 - would be a "successful" result for Mr Corbyn.
But he told the BBC he had made those comments "against the backdrop of the opinion polls" in a "conversational" interview.
